By Rosemarie Kelly In a Hollywood movie script, Bishop Chatard, the high school girls volleyball team with the most losses ever (17) entering the state finals, would have knocked off the No. 1 ranked team to become perhaps the most famous "Cinderella" champion in Indiana girls volleyball history. Alas, reality reigned supreme as the Class 3A No. 1 Yorktown Tigers (37-2) beat the Trojans 25-13, 25-19 and 25-15 to take the state volleyball crown. The Trojans fought well and played hard, but the Tigers were too strong for taming.
